Child Protection, Equality and Welfare
All DS Aerial Fitness instructors within children’s and teen’s classes have a DBS check and have agreed to adhere to and uphold our Safeguarding Policies.
Where possible, DS Aerial Fitness will allow full participation from all members of society, provided they meet the physical readiness of activities outlined upon registration.

Behaviour and bullying
DS Aerial Fitness has a ‘three strikes and you’re out policy’ which applies to behaviour and bulling – Should staff have to contact a parent regarding a student’s bad behaviour or abuse towards staff or other students, it will ultimately result in dismissal/exclusion from the organisation.

If peer-on-peer abuse is suspected or disclosed, we will follow the same procedures as responding to child abuse.
Parents and guardians We ask for all children to be dropped off and collected from our reception area. Should an alternative relative or friend be collecting, we ask for parents/guardians to inform members of staff so that they are aware.
The booking system requires each student to have a PAR-Q form filled in (to state of any medical needs and questions alike). At the end of the PAR-Q parents/guardians will have the option to allow DS Aerial Fitness to take photos/videos for promotional purposes or not. DS Aerial Fitness will only take photos/videos of students of which we have permission to do so. New students are welcome to participate in a ‘taster class’ for their first class. Parents/guardians are invited to watch. After the first class, parents/guardians then have access to wait in the reception or can leave and return before the class finishes to collect.DS Aerial Fitness will host ‘open days’ where family members will be invited into the studio to see the students’ progress. Sufficient notifications will be sent prior to these classes.
During open days and performances, DS Aerial Fitness cannot be held responsible for audience members taking photos/videos.
